Aslankaya Open-Air Temple, located near Döğer town in İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar, on the shores of Lake Emre, is a rock monument dedicated to the Mother Goddess Cybele by the Phrygians in the 7th century BC. It features Hellenistic architectural elements with its triangular pediment, Doric columns, and reliefs. The facade of the temple depicts Cybele flanked by two lions, while a rearing lion figure is carved on its northern face. This monument is a significant structure in the Phrygian Valley and attracts nature walkers and photography enthusiasts.
