Dursun Fakıh Tomb is a historic site located on a 550-meter-high hill in the Küre village of Söğüt district, Bilecik. The tomb belongs to Dursun Fakıh, who was the first qadi and imam-hatip of the Ottoman Empire, known for delivering the first sermon in the name of Osman Gazi, thus declaring the independence of the Ottoman State. Dursun Fakıh, a student and son-in-law of Sheikh Edebali, passed away in 1327. The tomb is accessible approximately 2 kilometers after the Küre Village turn-off on the Bilecik-Söğüt highway, at the 20th kilometer mark, and offers a commanding view of its surroundings.
