The New Zealand Memorial at Chunuk Bair, located in Eceabat, Çanakkale, is one of four memorials erected to commemorate New Zealand soldiers who died on the Gallipoli peninsula. The memorial was built in 1925 by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) on Chunuk Bair Hill and stands 20.5 meters tall. It bears the names of 849 soldiers who died in the Battle of Sari Bair in August 1915 and other operations in this sector. Visitors can also walk to the Statue of Mustafa Kemal at Chunuk Bair (22 m) and the Chunuk Bair Yeni Zelanda Anıtı (32 m).
