Sultan Şuca Türbesi
462 m · Sultan Şuca Tomb, located near Mardin Gate in Diyarbakır's Sur district, was built between 1208 and 1209 during the Artuqid period. There are differing views on who the tomb belongs to; while it is popularly believed to belong to a companion of the Prophet, historical records suggest it belongs to Sultan Shuja, grandson of Artuqid Sultan Melikshah. The square-planned structure is covered with a dome inside and a pyramidal roof outside, and it was built with black and white cut stones. The tomb is within walking distance of Diyarbakır Grand Mosque (655 m), Ahmet Arif Literature Museum (705 m), and Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Museum (731 m).
