Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Arasta ve Dua Kubbesi, Havsa
The Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Arasta and Dua Kubbesi in Havsa is part of a large complex commissioned by Sokullu Mehmet Paşa and built by Mimar Sinan between 1576 and 1577. The complex was constructed in memory of Sokullu Mehmet Paşa's son, Kurd Kasım Paşa, who died at a young age. The prayer dome is an architectural structure located in the section of the arasta (bazaar) where the mosque and inn entrances open, supported by four arches and covered with a pendentive dome. Nearby are the Havsa Public Education Building (51 m) and the Kurtbey Tomb Monument (91 m).
