Namazgah ve Şadırvan
2.8 km · Namazgah ve Şadırvan in Edirne Merkez is a historic site constructed from smooth cut stone. The namazgah, which rests on four legs and is covered by a dome, has a baldachin form with round arches and is open on all four sides. Pilgrim candidates would come here to recite the adhan and offer sacrifices before their pilgrimage, which is how the building got its name. In front of the namazgah is a rectangular fountain, also made of cut stone. It is within walking distance of Gazi Mihal Bridge (302 m), Hacı Mehmet Ağa Fountain (497 m), and İsmet Kaan Higher Education Male Student Dormitory (757 m).
