Denizli Caravanserai
52.6 km · Denizli Caravanserai is located in the Keban district of Elazığ, on the historical Silk Road. Although the exact construction date is unknown, it is believed to have been built during the Anatolian Seljuk period, at the end of the 13th or beginning of the 14th century, based on its plan and construction technique. The caravanserai has an enclosed courtyard plan with small rooms on the east and west sides of the entrance iwan. A double-headed eagle figure, a Seljuk symbol, is said to be located at the entrance of the caravanserai. Denizli Makit Han (Keban Denizli) is within 24 meters walking distance of Denizli Caravanserai.
