Taşhan
1.9 km · Taşhan, also known as Rüstem Pasha Caravanserai, is a historic site in Erzurum's Yakutiye district, built in 1561 by Grand Vizier Rüstem Pasha, a statesman during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. This two-story structure is a notable example of Ottoman caravanserai architecture and currently serves as a production and sales center for Oltu stone products. Taşhan is within walking distance of Çifte Minareli Medrese (518 m), Yakutiye Medresesi (312 m), and Erzurum Castle (278 m). Visitors can find various Oltu stone souvenirs, including prayer beads, rings, and necklaces.
