It served as a lodging for merchants, travelers, and villagers from surrounding provinces and districts, as well as their animals. In 2006, it was restored by the Odunpazarı Municipality and transformed into its current form as a handicrafts bazaar. The bazaar features the production, exhibition, and sale of traditional handicrafts such as meerschaum, silver, ceramics, and glass. The Atatürk Lisesi tram stop is 338 meters away.
