Abbasağa Parkı
Abbasağa Park is a historical park located in the Cihannüma neighborhood of Beşiktaş district, Istanbul. Formerly known as Abbasağa Cemetery, the area was transformed into a park and opened in 1940 with a ceremony attended by the then Istanbul Governor and Mayor Dr. Lütfi Kırdar. The park features a basketball court and fitness equipment. Additionally, it hosts sculptures commemorating 12 Turkish intellectuals who were killed between 1978 and 1999. The park is within walking distance of Beşiktaş Dentur Pier (573 m), Yıldız Palace (653 m), Naval Museum (600 m), and Ihlamur Pavilion (Merasim Köşkü) (648 m).
