Kız Kulesi
308 m · Kız Kulesi, also known as the Maiden's Tower, is a historical structure located on a small islet off the coast of Üsküdar, near the Marmara Sea entrance of the Bosphorus Strait. Dating back to the 5th century BC, it was originally built by the Athenian general Alcibiades as a custom station. Throughout its history, the tower has served various purposes, including a defense tower, a lighthouse, and a quarantine hospital. It is 658 meters walking distance from Hacı Ahmet Paşa Türbesi and does not have wheelchair access.
