The ancient theater of Erythrae is located on the northern slope of the ancient city of Erythrae, within the borders of Ildırı village in Çeşme, İzmir. Thought to have been built in the 3rd century BC, the theater dates back to the Hellenistic period and its spectator steps are largely intact. The theater offers a notable view of the Aegean Sea and is a significant remnant of the ancient city of Erythrae.
