Aşık Veysel Rekreasyon Alanı

Named after the Turkish folk poet Âşık Veysel, this recreation area was opened by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality on September 25, 2010. It features a 5,000-person amphitheater, a 12,000-square-meter ice sports hall, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, a mini football field, an artificial pond, children's playgrounds, and cycling and walking paths. 958 m · Andria Mansion is a historic building located in Bornova, İzmir. Built by the Zipcy Family in the 1830s, the mansion was later purchased by Richard Mattheys and in 1928 by Charles Balladur. Edouard Balladur, who served as Prime Minister of France, also stayed at this mansion from time to time. After Charles Balladur's death, the mansion was inherited by his daughter Denise De Andria and was used by the De Andria family until 1973. Today, it has been restored and serves as a cafe. Throughout its history, the mansion has been owned by the Corsi, Perkins, Barry, Whittall, and Giraud families, and has hosted notable figures such as Lord Byron, Gustave Flaubert, and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. During the Turkish War of Independence, it served as the Western Front Command Headquarters and the General Staff Headquarters.
