807 m · Teos or Teo was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia, on a peninsula between Chytrium and Myonnesus. It was founded by Minyans from Orchomenus, Ionians and Boeotians, but the date of its foundation is unknown. Teos was one of the twelve cities which formed the Ionian League. The city was situated on a low hilly isthmus. Its ruins are located to the south of the modern town of Sığacık in the Seferihisar district of İzmir Province, Turkey.

857 m · The Temple of Dionysus, located in the Seferihisar district of Izmir, is one of the most significant structures in the ancient city of Teos and is known as the largest Dionysus temple in Anatolia. Dedicated to Dionysus, the god of wine, harvest, and theatre, this temple was built in the early 2nd century BC by the renowned Hellenistic architect Hermogenes. The temple features an Ionic order, with a peripteral plan of six columns on the short sides and eleven on the long sides, and underwent renovations during the Augustan and Hadrianic periods. Situated within the ancient city of Teos, the temple is within walking distance of other important structures such as Teos (323 m), Teos Theatre (367 m), and Teos Cistern (387 m).

910 m · Teos Cistern, located in the Seferihisar district of İzmir, is a rectangular-plan structure dating back to the Roman Period (1st-2nd centuries AD). Measuring 47 meters long and 6.80 meters wide, this cistern was used for water storage and likely supplied water to the Roman Bath located approximately 200 meters to its southeast. The cistern has a minimum water capacity of 542 cubic meters/ton, and its inner walls were plastered for waterproofing. It is situated on the foothills of a low hill in the southwest of the ancient city of Teos.

The theatre was built on the slope of a hill south of the Acropolis, and while evidence suggests its existence in the Hellenistic period, the surviving structure dates to the Roman period. With an estimated capacity of around 7,000 spectators, the theatre features a two-story colonnaded stage building. Situated within the Teos Ancient City, the theatre is within walking distance of other important ruins such as the Temple of Dionysus and Teos Cistern.

This roofed structure served as the decision-making center for the city administration's advisory council. With a capacity of approximately 800 people, it was also known to be used for educational purposes and as a music hall. It is located in the Sığacık Neighborhood, from which it takes its name, just northeast of the Sığacık Port, which is still in use today. Sığacık Castle is estimated to have been built during the Seljuk period. The most important repair phase of the castle, which underwent repairs during the Aydınoğulları and Ottoman periods, took place between 1521-1522 when, upon the recommendation of Piri Reis and the order of Suleiman the Magnificent, who was preparing for the Rhodes Campaign, the Teos ruins were used as a quarry by the fleet commander Parlak Mustafa Pasha.
