Sarpdere Balaban Yolu Necropolis Area, located 2.6 km southeast of Sarpdere village in Demirköy district of Kırklareli, is a necropolis and tumulus area dating between the Early Iron Age and the 3rd century AD. This archaeological site contains nearly 50 burial mounds and tombs damaged by illegal excavations. The area is threatened by forestry activities and treasure hunting, and has been registered as a 1st degree archaeological site.
