Vakıflar Öğrenci Yurdu Binası

The Vakıflar Öğrenci Yurdu Binası in Kırklareli Merkez, built in 1916, was originally an orphanage known as Darüleytem or Böcekhane. This two-story building, constructed over a basement, features a main entrance accessed by two-sided stairs beneath a projecting bay window supported by four columns. Although it has lost some of its original characteristics due to renovations, it currently serves as a student dormitory belonging to the General Directorate of Foundations. It is within walking distance of Kırklareli Museum (587 m), Doktor Celepoğlu Konağı (167 m), and Hızırbey Hamamı (389 m).
