The Kongessi Roman Tomb, also known as the Konca Sarcophagus, is located in Gölcük, Kocaeli, and takes its name from the Konca region where it is situated. Dating back to the 2nd century AD Roman period, this sarcophagus was discovered in 1967 during the construction of the İzmit-Yalova road. One side of the sarcophagus, facing the sea, features an inscription, while the other side depicts a male and female figure along with a standing servant.
