Situated southwest of the three temples dedicated to the goddess Leto and her children Artemis and Apollo, this nymphaeum dates to the early 2nd century or later. It was built over a Hellenistic structure that occupied the site of a sacred spring, believed to be the legendary spring where Leto quenched her thirst. Letoon has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
