22.0 km · Tekkeköy Caves Archaeology Valley Museum House is a museum located in the Tekkeköy district of Samsun. The museum, located in the Tekkeköy Caves Archaeology Valley, which is the first human settlement in the Black Sea Region, was created by restoring one of the three registered old Greek houses in the region. The museum, which was opened on March 1, 2014, features arrowheads, spears, cutters, stone axes, various imitation materials made of bone, and sculptures from the Old Stone Age, Middle Stone Age, Early Bronze Age, Hittite, and Phrygian periods. For this reason, the museum is also known as Turkey's first imitation museum.
