Karahan Tepe
42.7 km · Karahan Tepe, located in the Haliliye district of Şanlıurfa, is a significant Pre-Pottery Neolithic archaeological site. Discovered in 1997 by Bahattin Çelik, the site features T-shaped stelae similar to those at Göbeklitepe, as well as structures carved directly from the bedrock. Excavations have revealed sculptures and unique architectural elements, offering valuable insights into the beliefs and way of life during the Neolithic period.
