Balıklıgöl
40.3 km · Balıklıgöl, located in the Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa, is a sacred site believed to be where Prophet Abraham was thrown into a fire, which then miraculously turned into water and the burning logs into fish. This complex, encompassing Halil-ür Rahman and Aynzeliha lakes, along with surrounding historical mosques and madrasahs, is a significant center for faith and cultural tourism. The lake is 150 meters long, 30 meters wide, and 3-5 meters deep. It is within walking distance of Şanlıurfa Castle (209 m), Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum (699 m), and Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum (392 m).
