Cukurcuma Hamami
Çukurcuma Hamamı, located in the Çukurcuma district of Beyoğlu, was built in the 1830s during the reign of Sultan Mahmud II. Initially known as "Çukurcuma Sürahi Hamamı," it later became known as "Süreyya Hamamı." The hammam features a spacious domed ceiling and marble interiors, reflecting both classical Ottoman architecture and the modernization trends of its era. Çukurcuma Hamamı is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 22:00 and is within walking distance of Taksim Square (771 m), the Museum of Innocence (102 m), and Istanbul Modern Art Museum (667 m). The nearest public transport is Galatasaray High School tram stop (327 m).
