Ankara Roma Tiyatrosu
Ankara Roman Theatre is an ancient Roman theatre located in the Altındağ district, at the western end of Ankara Castle. Although its exact construction date is unknown, it is generally dated to the 2nd century AD. The theatre was discovered in 1982 during a foundation excavation and was restored by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality between 2020 and 2023. Within walking distance are the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations (415 m), Ankara Castle (427 m), and the Temple of Augustus (327 m).
