Roma Tiyatrosu
Located on the northwestern slope of Ankara Castle in the Altındağ district of Ankara, the Roman Theatre is an ancient structure dating back to the 2nd century AD. The theatre consists of a cavea (seating areas), orchestra, and stage building. Discovered in 1982 during a construction excavation, restoration work on the theatre, initiated by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in 2020, was completed in 2025. The Roman Theatre is within walking distance of important sites such as the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations (425 m), Ankara Castle (425 m), and the Temple of Augustus (317 m).
