Gelidonya Feneri
Gelidonya Lighthouse, located on Taşlık Cape in the Kumluca district of Antalya, is the highest lighthouse on the Turkish coastline, standing 227 meters above sea level. Construction of the lighthouse began in 1934 and it was put into service in 1936. An important stop on the Lycian Way, the lighthouse offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the lush forests of Beydağları Coastal National Park. The lighthouse and its keeper's building are protected as national heritage by the Turkish Coastal Safety Authority.
