Halime Hatun Kümbeti
Halime Hatun Kümbeti is a historic site located in the Gevaş district of Van, situated to the east of the Gevaş Historical Islamic Cemetery. It was commissioned in 1335 by İzzettin Şir Bey, believed to be the founder of the Hakkâri Emirate, for his daughter Halime Hatun. Constructed by Ahlatlı Pehlivan oğlu Esed, the kümbet is a two-story structure with a dodecagonal body on a square base and a conical roof. It is notable for its rich vegetal, geometric, and calligraphic decorations on its exterior. The Ahtamar Iskelesi ferry stop is 456 m away for public transport.
