It was strategically constructed on a rocky outcrop overlooking both the city's summer and winter harbors. Today, Kalepark is open to visitors, featuring a viewing terrace with panoramic city views, restored city walls, and archaeological remains. It is within walking distance of Trabzon Museum (764 m), Güzelhisar Castle (17 m), and Trabzonspor Şamil Ekinci Museum (611 m).
