Karakız Stone Quarry and Sculpture Workshop, located in Karakız village, Sorgun district of Yozgat, was used as a sculpture workshop during the Hittite Empire period. The area contains roughly carved statues and flattened rock blocks. There are also two column base statues, one within the village and the other in a nearby area known as Hapisboğazı. The site has a history of 3200 years.
