The rules that apply when using TripNVB: accounts, check-ins and reviews, and content rights.
1. Description of the Service
TripNVB is a travel guide platform where only users who have completed physical location verification (check-in) can leave a review. Factual city/place information (location, category) is compiled from open sources; reviews and ratings come only from verified visitors.
2. Account Responsibility
You are required to provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for your account's security, including keeping your password confidential. Contact us if you notice suspicious access to your account.
3. Check-in and Review Rules
The check-in feature rejects attempts made from a location that isn't actually near the place (verified against the real distance to the place). Fake check-in attempts, attempts to game the system via multiple accounts, and reviews that misrepresent your experience may result in account suspension.
4. Content Rights
Reviews and any content you upload to the platform remain yours, but you grant us permission to use them on the platform and for promotional purposes. Some city/place data is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors (under the ODbL license); attribution is provided site-wide.
5. Disclaimer
Information on the platform is based on user contributions and open data sources; we do not guarantee a place's current status, opening hours, or prices. We recommend confirming travel decisions with your own research alongside the platform's information. Future flight/hotel referral links (affiliate) will be subject to the relevant third-party provider's own terms.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine you have violated these terms. You may also delete your own account at any time.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
