İshaklı Kervansaray
26.2 km · Ishaklı Han, Sahib Ata Han, or Sahip Ata Han, is a caravanserai built in 1249 by Sahip Ata Fahrettin Ali, located on the Afyon Konya road in the present-day Sultandağı district, formerly known as Ishaklı. It was built during the reign of Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Izzeddin Keykavus II. In Anatolia, between the 11th and 13th centuries, during an unusual political period, trade and art developed very rapidly. This short but golden age was weakened by the Crusades and Mongol invasions, and the Seljuk Sultans supervised and managed these wars from their capital, Konya.
