About Aphrodisias Stadium
Located in Karacasu, Denizli, the Aphrodisias Stadium is one of the most striking features of the ancient city of Aphrodisias. Built in the 1st or 2nd century AD, this stadium is 262 meters long and 59 meters wide, with a seating capacity for approximately 30,000 spectators. It is considered one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman stadiums in the world and was used for athletic competitions and gladiatorial combats. Aphrodisias (478 m), Sebasteion (604 m), and Odeion (387 m) are within walking distance.
