About Macellum
The Macellum in Ağlasun, Isparta, is a historic site within the ancient city of Sagalassos. This structure served as a market for luxury food products, built in the last decade of the 2nd century AD, and later also sold items like jewelry, musical instruments, and worked bone. It is located within walking distance of other significant structures such as Sagalassos (83 m) and the Bouleuterion (113 m).
