About Dicle Tüneli

Dicle Tunnel is a geographical and archaeological site located 1.5 km from Abalı village in Lice, Diyarbakır. It is a natural tunnel formed by five caves through which the Dibni Stream, the eastern branch of the Tigris River, flows. Inscriptions and reliefs belonging to Assyrian kings Tiglath-Pileser I and Shalmaneser III are found here.
