Veli Dede Efendi passed away in 1631, and his tomb is situated opposite the Lari Mosque, near the dervish lodge where he was a sheikh. 223 m · Maarif Water Scale is an important example of Ottoman architecture reflecting the historical fabric of Edirne. Built in 1906, this structure stands out with its cut stone base, brick body, and cut stones at its corners. It has a roof made of block stone with a slightly rounded top, and its facades feature windows that reflect ancient architectural elements. Maarif Water Scale is one of only two water scales remaining in Edirne today. It is within walking distance of Alipaşa Çarşısı (91 m) and Macedonian Tower (168 m).

241 m · The Bedesten Çarşısı was built between 1417 and 1418 by Sultan Çelebi Mehmet and designed by Architect Alaeddin to provide income for the Old Mosque. This rectangular, covered bazaar with 14 domes is a significant example of early Ottoman architecture.
