Abdülhamit Fountain, located in Fatih district, was built in 1901 by the Italian architect Raimondo D'Aronco to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Sultan Abdülhamit II's ascension to the throne. An important example of Art Nouveau style, the fountain was moved to Maçka Park in 1957 and its restoration was completed in 2023. 258 m · The Museum of the Ancient Orient is a museum in Istanbul, Turkey, and part of the Istanbul Archaeology Museums complex, located opposite the main Archaeology Museum building. It became the place where Ottoman coins were minted after Sultan Mehmed II's conquest of Istanbul.
