The Nakşidil Valide Sultan Tomb is a historic structure located in the southern courtyard of Fatih Mosque. It was built in 1817 for Nakşidil Valide Sultan, who was the consort of Abdülhamid I and the mother of Mahmud II. The tomb is considered one of the most ornate examples of Baroque style and features 19th-century pen work decorations inside. In addition to Nakşidil Valide Sultan, there are fourteen other sarcophagi within the tomb. It is 778 meters from Aksaray metro stop.
