Located in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, santralistanbul Energy Museum is Turkey's first industrial archaeology museum. Opened in 2007, the museum is a conversion of the former Silahtarağa Power Plant, which supplied electricity to Istanbul from 1914 to 1983, and showcases the plant's original machinery. The museum offers interactive exhibits on electricity generation and distribution and is 358 meters from the Silahtarağa Mahallesi tram stop. Silahtarağa Gençlik Parkı is also within walking distance, at 669 meters.
