Saray Koleksiyonları Müzesi

The Palace Collections Museum in Beşiktaş showcases objects from the last 70 years of Ottoman palace life. The museum is located in the former kitchen building of Dolmabahçe Palace and opened to visitors in 2011. Its collection includes over 40,000 artifacts such as clothes, toys, handicrafts, writing sets, porcelains, and Hereke carpets. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.

193 m · Barbaros Monument is a monument made of bronze casting, located in Barbaros Park in Beşiktaş, erected in 1944, in memory of the famous Ottoman admiral Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha. It is one of the largest among the Republic era square monuments. Maritime Day and Naval Forces Day celebrations take place every year in front of the monument, which has become the symbol of Beşiktaş.

Barbaros Hayrettin Türbesi

242 m · The tomb of Hayreddin Barbarossa is the final resting place of Ottoman admiral of the fleet Hayreddin Barbarossa whose naval victories secured Ottoman dominance over the Mediterranean during the mid 16th century. The mausoleum was designed and built by Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan in 1541 and still retains its original features. It is located near the ferry port of the district of Beşiktaş on the European side of Istanbul where his fleet used to assemble.

264 m · The Dolmabahçe Palace Harem Section is part of the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul's Beşiktaş district, constructed between 1843 and 1856. It served as the private living quarters for the Ottoman Sultan, his mother, wives, children, and concubines. The Harem features a blend of Baroque, Rococo, and Ottoman architectural styles, adorned with gold, crystal, and glass decorations. The room where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk spent his final days and passed away is also located within this section. It is 346 meters from the Beşiktaş ferry stop.
