407 m · The Migration and Exchange House, located in Buca, İzmir, is a museum established to showcase the story and cultural heritage of migrations to Turkey from Balkan countries, particularly the Turkish-Greek Population Exchange. It opened in 2017 in a historical building dating back to 1904, which was restored by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Ahmet Piriştina City Archive and Museum (APİKAM). The museum exhibits everyday objects belonging to exchange families, such as clothes, textiles, and kitchenware, as well as documents related to the exchange. The museum received an award in the “Migration Museums” category at the Historical Cities Union Museum Incentive Competition. It is within walking distance of Mevlana Statue (452 m), Hasanağa Park (506 m), and Rees Mansion (536 m). The nearest public transport stop is Çevik Bir Meydanı metro stop (669 m).
