About Takip Kapısı
Takip Kapısı, a historic site in Selçuk, Aydın, is one of the entrances to the Byzantine-era city walls. It is named after the relief friezes depicting scenes from the life of Achilles found on it. It is generally dated to the 6th or 7th century and is located near the Basilica of St. John.
