İzmit Saat Kulesi
323 m · İzmit Clock Tower is a historic structure located in İzmit, Kocaeli, and stands as one of the city's symbols. It was commissioned in 1902 by İzmit Governor Musa Kazım Bey and designed by architect Vedat Tek to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Sultan Abdülhamid II's ascension to the throne. Built in the Neoclassical Ottoman architectural style, the tower has four floors and is 16.4 meters high. It is 126 meters from the Tren Garı tram stop, 430 meters from TCG Hızırreis, 434 meters from TCG Gayret, and 92 meters from Kasr-ı Hümayün Av Köşkü.
