Samut Baba Türbesi
Samut Baba Tomb, located in the İçmeler neighborhood of Urla, İzmir, is also known as Tekke Dede Tomb. The structure, which lacks an inscription, is dated to the 14th-15th centuries and has an octagonal plan. It is named after Samut Baba, a Muslim Uzbek father who came to the region to spread Islam. The largely ruined structure was restored by the Urla Municipality between 2011 and 2012. The tomb attracts thousands of visitors annually.
