Ataturk
The Alanya Atatürk House Museum is the house where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, stayed during his visit to Alanya on February 18, 1935. The house was donated to the Ministry of Culture by its owner, Tevfik Azakoğlu, and opened as a museum in 1987. The museum exhibits Atatürk's personal belongings, photographs, and historical documents such as the telegram he sent to the people of Alanya. It also features ethnographic items from a traditional Alanya house. Kızıl Kule (98 m), Tersane (279 m), and Arap Evliyası (544 m) are within walking distance. The nearest public transport is the Kale cablecar stop (576 m).
