Ravanda Kalesi
Ravanda Castle is a historic site located within the borders of Belenözü village in Polateli district of Kilis, built on a high, conical hill east of the Afrin River. The castle was used by many civilizations throughout history, including the Hittites, Byzantines, Seljuks, Crusaders, Ayyubids, Mamluks, and Ottomans. Inside the inner castle, there are two large water cisterns and remnants of a palace. Due to its strategic location, the castle served as an important military base throughout history.
