Harran Kalesi

The Harran Castle or Harran Citadel is a castle ruin in Harran, Turkey. Most of the present structure dates to the Ayyubid Sultanate c. 1200 but the castle is substantially older. Its exact founding date is unknown but it appears to have been built at some point during the time Harran was under Byzantine rule and was originally a palace.

Sumatar Harabesi

Sumatar Harabesi was an ancient watering place for semi-nomadic peoples located in the Tektek Mountains, 60 kilometers (37 mi) southeast of Urfa and 40 kilometers (25 mi) northeast of Harran, in modern-day Turkey. A now deserted oasis, it consists of a set of ruins and tombs situated around a central mount of rock 50 meters (160 ft) in height and width.

Hanel Barur Kervansarayı

Hanel Barur Caravanserai, located in Göktaş Village of Harran district in Şanlıurfa, is a historic structure dating back to the Ayyubid period. Built in 1228-1229 by al-Hajj Husam al-Din Ali ibn Isa, it served as an important stop on the historical Harran-Baghdad trade route. It is notable as the only known Ayyubid caravanserai to have survived within Anatolian borders. The caravanserai features a nearly square courtyard surrounded by sections including a mosque, guard room, stables, and a bathhouse.

Harran, Ulu Çamı

Harran Ulu Camii, located in the Harran district of Şanlıurfa, is one of the oldest and largest monumental mosques of Islamic architecture in Turkey. It was built by Umayyad Caliph Marwan II between 744 and 750 AD. The eastern facade, mihrab, ablution fountain, and a large part of its minaret have survived to the present day. It is within walking distance of Harran Castle (694 m) and Harran (309 m).
