About Uzungöl
Uzungöl is a tourist neighborhood in the Çaykara district of Trabzon Province, named after the lake it borders. It is a landslide-dammed lake formed when rocks falling from the slopes blocked the Haldizen Stream. Uzungöl is part of Uzungöl Nature Park, which was declared on October 3, 1989, and is known for its natural beauty. It is located approximately 95-100 km southeast of Trabzon city center.
