About Uzungöl Nature Park
Uzungöl Nature Park is a nature park located in the Çaykara district of Trabzon. It is notable for Uzungöl, a landslide-dammed lake, and its rich flora and fauna. The park was designated a nature park in 1989 and covers an area of 1642 hectares. Surrounded by Eastern spruce and beech forests, Uzungöl is also home to various animal species such as bears, wolves, and wild goats.
