    The museum building is the house where Atatürk stayed before having the Walking Mansion built in Yalova. It was restored in 1981 and started operating as a museum exhibiting Atatürk's belongings. Afterwards, the mansion, known as the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises Atatürk Mansion Baltacı Farm Mansion, registered with the decision of the Kocaeli Cultural Heritage Preservation Board dated November 20, 2007, and numbered 193, began its restoration in February 2013 to start operating as a children's museum.
