About Sacred Way
Kutsal Yol is a historic site located in Didim. It was an approximately 17-kilometer-long stone-paved road that connected the ancient city of Miletus to the Didyma Apollo Temple, built in the 6th century BC. The path was adorned with sphinxes, lions, and statues of seated priests. Today, walks are organized annually on this historic route on the third Sunday of April. It is within walking distance of Didyma (232 m) and the Temple of Apollo (220 m).
