    Adnan Menderes Memorial Tomb, a memorial tomb located within Topkapı Cemetery, which houses the mausoleum of Adnan Menderes, one of Turkey's former prime ministers, on Vatan Street in Istanbul's Topkapı district. After the Yassıada Trials, which began after the May 27 Coup, Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, Minister of Finance Hasan Polatkan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fatin Rüştü Zorlu were executed by hanging in İmralı Prison. With a law enacted in 1990, Adnan Menderes and his friends had their reputations restored, and their remains, which were on İmralı Island, were transferred to their current memorial tomb on September 17, 1990, with a state ceremony attended by then-President Turgut Özal.

    The Turgut Özal Memorial Tomb is the monumental resting place of Turkey's 8th President, Turgut Özal, located in the Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul. Opened to visitors in 1998, the memorial was designed by architect Yılmaz Sanlı. Its 32-meter-high, eight-legged structure reflects a contemporary interpretation of traditional Turkish architectural motifs, symbolizing the diversity of Turkish society and an ascent to the heavens. The memorial tomb is within walking distance of the Adnan Menderes Memorial Tomb (209 m) and 362 meters from the Vatan tram stop.
